KTM has launched their 200 cc Duke in India. The Indian bikers will soon get the feel of an Austrian ride. Bajaj has 40 % stake in KTM and together will be rolling KTM bikes in India. Bajaj is expecting huge response for the KTM and will be replacing all Bajaj Pro-Biking outlets with KTM outlets. Currently there are 34 Bajaj Pro-Biking outlets and all these outlets will be replaced with KTM outlets. This brings about the next obvious question, what about the Kawasaki Ninja 250R and 650R (which Bajaj distributes in the country). These motorcycles will continue to be distributed via
the KTM Stores. KTM Duke is currently being offered at an introductory price of 1.17 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. We checked out with our nearest KTM store in Bangalore and it was confirmed that bookings will open only by 1st week of February and it would take 90 days for the delivery. The on-road price in Bangalore is 1.37 lakh. KTM is said to bring in the bigger bikes by next year. We can expect the KTM Duke 900 by 2013 and by end of this year the Duke 350cc. So if you love the KTM and you were waiting for it all these days, we urge you to head to your nearest KTM Store previously Bajaj Pro-Biking Showroom to get the complete load on the KTM Duke 200.
