As we said earlier that Bajaj will out a list of bikes (Upgraded Bajaj Pulsar 180cc, Upgraded Bajaj Pulsar 200cc & Upgraded Bajaj Pulsar 220cc) in India, Bajaj is getting ready to its Rival TVS on its Apache 180cc launch for its stand alone fight in the 180cc segment in India.
Bajaj will roll out the new upgraded Pulsar 180cc by the end of the April 2009.
Upgraded Bajaj Pulsar 180cc Features:
- Tank Scoops from the Pulsar 200cc
- 37mm fork assembly at the front
- Black theme is applied in the new pulsar 180cc. (From Forks to engine to rear suspension is matted with matte black finish)
- Split Seat and split grab rail for the new pulsar 180cc like its second big brother Pulsar 200cc
- New pulsar 180cc borrows the box section swingarm from its elder sibling pulsar 220cc
- Larger forks at the front and box section swingarm at the rear means more fun for hardcore bikers
- The DTS-i engine (no fuel injection) now generates slightly more power. The power output of new pulsar 180cc is 17.02PS at 8500rpm compared to the earlier 16.5bhp at 8000rpm
- New pulsar 180cc has a wheelbase of 145mm which means 25mm longer than the current one
- Kick lever is thrown out and ignition is only through battery in the new pulsar 180cc
- New pulsar 180cc also gets a new rear sprocket and the O-ring chain
- Clip-on handlebar in the new pulsar 180cc to take on the likes of apache RTR
- New pulsar 180cc gets larger 120 section tyre at the rear which is sure to help your wheelie

Bajaj has to come its upcoming releases of PULSAR 200 & 220 2009 ASAP….hopefully at end of MAY2009 or in 1st week of JUNE 2009
afterall rainy season is around corner..hence so hurry..!!
Finaly it is seen that TVS gone be launching Apache 180 with rear disk Brakes…seems to be again copied strategy from Bajaj of P200 upcoming…so that they can take over current launched Bajaj Pulsar 180…and also can compete with new 2009 Pulsar 200…
TVS S**ks…all again by adopting n copying all strategies of BAJAJ PULSAR family so far…!!!!!!!
I hope people also eying this COPYing theory of TVS from BAJAJ…and hence go for STYLING,BIG,definitely MALE BAJAJ PULSAR FAmily…the upcoming……!!!!!!!!!!!
Now its BAJAJ turn.. looks like ball is in their pocket..so they have to go ahead ASAP and strat PULSAR 180 selling along with DTS-iFi(Fuel injection)with Power of 18PS and all digital indicators like low fuel,battery etc,with Rear disk brakes….from 1st week of JUNE 2009…
However,they-BAJAJ must go ahead one step ahead of TVS(rather than waiting release of tvs apache 180)and LAUNCH newly upgraded PULSARS ****200DTS-i FI(fuel injection-Oil cooled):POWER 20PS
