Maruti Ertiga MPV is one of the most awaited models from Maruti Suzuki India after it unveiled the vehicle at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The company has now scheduled the launch of the Maruti Ertiga by March. The company which recently launched the Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire Compact, once the Ertiga launches and the company will bring the XA Alpha SUV where the concept model also showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.

Maruti Ertiga MPV is expected to be priced around Rs 7-lakhs and will be available in both petrol and diesel variants.

The Petrol engine is powered by the new K14B petrol K-Series engine that along with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. The Ertiga MPV has competitors including the Mahindra Xylo, Toyota Innova and the Tata Aria.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV seating layout will be 2+3+2 and the cleverly designed interiors that offer luxury and space. The Front side of the Ertiga comes with a clean flowing front bumper with large air inlet and fog lights and the car is based on the Ritz Platform.

The New Ertiga MPV is likely to return a 16.02 KMPL as per the ARAI and the diesel engine which is currently doing its rounds on the SX4 where the diesel variant will produce 89BHP of power. If the price of the Ertiga fall under a reasonable bracket and the vehicle which carries the Maruti brand will definitely people have Ertiga as an option after the Innova, Ertiga, Xylo and the Aria.
