Hyundai India has recently stopped accepting bookings of the i20 hatchback in India. Hyundai might be planning to launch the Fluidic i20 in India in the coming months. The Hyundai i20 has been spotted many times during testing in and around Chennai and we believe the testing phase should be on the final stage to call such action to take place.
The new Fluidic i20 will be launched in India with a price hike and the existing bookings of the Hyundai i20 might be converted into new Fluidic i20 as happened to all the Maruti Suzuki DZire.

The new Fluidic i20 will be offered with changes on the exteriors including the new headlamps, new hexagonal grilles deign and new bumpers and the i20 will also get a new tail lamps fixed.
Apart from the changes in both exteriors and interiors, the company will follow the same suit of 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol engines and the 1.4-litre diesel engine. The 1.4-litre petrol will be offered with a 4-speed automatic transmission as an option and the rest to be accompanied by a five-speed manual gearbox.
